About me

I am currently a PhD student in Statistical Sciences at the University of Bologna, where I work on Bayesian and spatial statistical methods for environmental epidemiology and public health under the supervision of Massimo Ventrucci and Andrea Ranzi.

My research focuses on how statistical models can help describe, understand, and communicate the health effects of environmental and climate-related exposures, particularly when these effects vary across space and populations. I am especially interested in the role of statistics as a bridge between complex data and public health decisions, and in developing methods that are both rigorous and interpretable.

The PhD scholarship is funded by ARPAE within the project “Health and Equity Co-Benefits in Support of Plans to Respond to Climate Change in Italy”, part of the Italian National Plan for Complementary Investments of the Ministry of Health.

Alongside research, I am a teaching tutor for the Bayesian Inference course led by Daniela Cocchi.

Here you’ll find publications, research updates, and materials from conferences and seminars, together with a glimpse of the projects and topics I am currently working on. I hope you enjoy looking around!
