Land Surface Temperature (LST) map is based on 30 m resolution satellite data from USGS Landsat 8.

We collected all available images of the Emilia-Romagna region during the summer months (June-August) from 2013 to 2025, removing areas covered by clouds.

We then calculated an average temperature for each location, giving more importance to areas with more reliable (cloud-free) observations.
